WHO is LOM?
Here at Life On Mars, we’re not just another makeup company!
We’re women on a mission. We’re here to empower women to feel their most beautiful AND most healthy. The idea for creating our line of healthy, non-toxic makeup and skin care came from Life On Mars Founder Cynthia Sansone. A makeup artist for over 30 years, Cynthia is president of the non-profit organization Mondays at Racine. Mondays at Racine helps reduce the physical, emotional, and cosmetic side effects of cancer therapies. From haircuts and head shaving services to manicures, facials, and makeovers — Cynthia and her team have watched thousands of women transform from the inside out.
We here at Life On Mars have spent years developing the formula and testing the products, to ensure that they were made of the highest quality ingredients and gave clients the best results.
These non toxic products became so popular in her community that we expanded into an online store, so we can provide these products to women worldwide!
What does Life On Mars stand for?
Here’s a little background info about Life On Mars: Life On Mars is such a cool name, right! Besides the partners being HUGE David Bowie fans… Life On Mars pays homage to a non-profit organization, Mondays At Racines (MARs!), that helps reduce the physical, emotional and cosmetic side effects of cancer therapies. Ahhhhh! Lightbulb moment, right?!
A portion of the proceeds goes where?
A portion of our proceeds go the non-profit organization called Mondays at Racine. Mondays at Racine is a 501c3 group of salons that help reduce the physical, emotional, and cosmetic side effects of cancer therapies. The work they do at Mondays at Racine is so phenomenal that they were the subject of an Oscar-nominated documentary, Mondays at Racine. Since 2003, Cynthia and her team have helped over 6,000 people to reduce the side effects of cancer therapies through providing free cosmetics services.
